October Schedule ::UPDATED::

Posted September 26th, 2011 by Ripskin

September was full of great games, we had a fantastic night game (cooler temperatures) and two great day games.

The temperatures look to continue dropping so October should yield a good turnout and more fun for all.  We look forward to seeing you on the field!

There is a night game on Saturday the 8th starting at 7pm
There is a day game on Sunday  the 16th starting at 11am
>>>>> There is a day game on Sunday the 30th starting at 11am<<<<<

For the night games remember a dead rag and a glow stick (battery or chemical (do not puncture please) driven) so that we can spot you and stop shooting at you when dead. Without a glow stick you are liable to keep getting shot so be warned.

Summer / Coming Games

Posted August 1st, 2011 by Ripskin

Remember there is a day game scheduled for this Sunday due to start at 11am sharp so come early and be ready to play on time.

Next the heat is picking up so start hydrating mid week and build up your strength of the game.  Have a good nights rest and a good meal the night before to be ready.

  • Please please PLEASE if you feel fatigued, over heated or just worn out call yourself out if necessary but sit down and take a few minutes to cool off in some shade and relax.
  • Bring PLENTY of water and some extra, what you dont use Sunday can be saved until next time.  Better to come with extra than too little.
  • Bring some snacks to replenish your energy which can drain quickly when playing heavily in high temperatures.

The following was posted on the forums but bears repeating here:

As you all know the number of players is increasing at Forney which is good more targets but lets lay down some ground work for the rules.

-First off CALL YOUR HITS man the hit shrugging is getting out of hand and we will deal with it from now on you don’t call your hits and we see it’s on purpose 1 warning second your out for the rest of the day.If it continues to be a problem for that same player he or she will be banned from Forney PERIOD.

-Next why doesn’t everyone have a dead rag or dead light if night game.A dead rag is a whole 2 bucks or less at The Army Store or Wal-Mart we don’t care where you get it just get one. if you come out to Forney make sure you have one or both if playing a night game.Myself and Grumps and others have given out our last freebies if you can’t afford this small item in airsoft get a new hobby.Sorry to be so blunt but it’s getting real old.

-Now last we know not everyone can afford matching camo like tan top and tan bottom but we are putting a STOP NOW to all mix colors like a green top and a tan bottom. When you wear this who knows what team your on and it just ruins the game as a whole. So from know on wear matching tops and bottom we don’t care if it’s solid colors just make sure they MATCH.And here is a run down of the colors as to what team you will be put on when you show up at Forney day or night game.

-One last thing on colors if you bring friends that you want to run with you on your team make sure they are wearing what you are or you are wearing what they are.

TAN TEAM
A-TACS
Multicam
Tan Desert
Tan Tiger Stripe
Solid tan w/matching top & bottom

GREEN TEAM
Woodland
Marpat
Green Tiger Stripe
Solid green w/matching top & bottom
Russian green camo

ACU
All ACU will be put with smaller team

Contractor
If wearing contractor make sure you don’t mix tan and green you may mix any other colors you wish.
EXAMPLE Black & Tan or Green and Black or just solid Black.Blue jeans and any color shirt will find themselves on this team.

Haji
Must wear MAN DRESS any color.

Remember we are here to have fun and give the sport a good name, lets do so and enjoy the coming games for this month, see you on the field!

Posted June 10th, 2011 by Ripskin

There is a night game scheduled for tonight, we hope many of you will be able to make it out!

Remember to bring both a dead rag and a dead light.  Both are necessary to ensure you do not keep getting shot!

It is very important to have hydrate properly prior to the game, you want to hydrate starting a day in advance and keep going through the game in order to stay healthy and fit for fighting!  If you feel over heated or need a break please sit down, call yourself out and just rest!
